My work is rooted in women and girls’ rights, and health, dignity and well-being for all people living with HIV.
I combine lived experience of HIV – being diagnosed in 1990 – with 30 years working as a designer and design lecturer, some of this spent in Zimbabwe. My work has always been part of my advocacy efforts; through good design I can amplify the work of women living with HIV.
I have illustration skills and a professional qualification in proof reading and copy-editing. For those interested in the bits of papers, I have an MA in Design Leadership, a certificate in Life History Work and post-graduate certificate in Narrative Research – my favourite things, design, stories and life.
